
Spencer Yujia Yan is a graphic designer, video editor, and illustrator based in Boston. Her works take much inspiration from her experience with painting and pencil drawing and her intuition. She received her dual BFA degree in Graphic Design from the Communication University of China and New York Institute of Technology. In her third year of college, she completed an internship for M Woods Museum in Beijing, responsible for exhibition derivatives design and generating promotional materials. After her undergraduate studies, she interned for Assouline Publishing, a New York-based book publisher specializing in fashion, lifestyle, design, etc. Her infographic and design works have been presented at several group shows in school.
Crafting and hands-on practice is her favorite approach to design. During summer break, she worked for Pianpian He and Max Harvey studio, supporting the video content production and poster designs for exhibitions.
